Açai Bowl


This beautiful red bowl has been a little bit of an obsession lately! It's so amazingly creamy and fruity you just can't stop eating it and end up licking the bowl (sorry it's not very elegant but it is the truth ;))
You can find Açai in form of powder or liquid sachets that you keep frozen, which is my personal preference for making these bowls. They sell them in health stores or you can also buy them online! 

Serves a BIG bowl: 
1 (frozen) banana
100gr (frozen) blueberries
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 heaped tablespoon of acai powder or 1 sachet

If you have the frozen sachet place it (without opening it)  into a cup of hot water so the acai becomes liquid. 
Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth! If you want an extra bit of sweetness you can add 2 medjool dates! 

Top with anything you like: some fresh berries and granola (see the recipe here or here) for some crunchiness.
