Not many of you know this, but before deciding to study fashion I was about to study criminology, and while I was trying to decide I will never forget my mom bringing in her best and worst trait: second guessing everything. I will never forget what she said to me about this decision, she asked me: "are you sure you want to actually study it or do you just want to wear elegant work outfits?" - I was of course initially outraged!!! How could she depict me as so shallow?! Thinking about it now it was partially true, I do love those "Suits" and "The Good Wife"-like outfits and always feel so empowered in them, but on the other hand I truly loved the subject of the criminal mind and actually do still think I should study it part time because I think I would be very passionate about it.
So once in a while I still dress like that and imagine what my life would have been like now, it is truly amazing how strong and amazing you feel with an elegant outfit like that. If this is too elegant for you, but you still want to have that lawyer like feel, just wear sneakers (all stars best) with this and it will give the look a completely different feel, but you will feel just as good.
